Steemit Monthly Author Challenge #3-2019 - Day 6 || Saving hibiscus
#Monthlyauthorchallenge initiated by @steemit-mac
In November, one of my beloved kitties tore off a branch from my hibiscus. After I admonished the villain, I started to think about the options. I mean...I had to rescue this poor branch.
I did an experiment and just planted the branch in a pot. Considering the tiny bud, would you mark it as a success? 🙂
Now I must think how to keep the attackers away. Their paws with sharp claws are always around my plants. 🤔
Check out the challenge started by me and @erikah, SeasonChallenge. We would love to learn about your impressions towards the Spring (these being the theme until 3rd of June).

I would say a huge success ! It deserves a celebration ! (without cats 😉 😹 )
The solution to your cats munching on your plants is to keep a pot of catnip around for them. Sure… they’ll be mildly stoned much of the time… But, they’ll probably leave your houseplants alone. LOL
Actually, the solution is cat grass, which is a healthy alternative for your cats. They’ll usually go for it instead and it, in turn, will help them digestively.
