It's All In Your Head: Step Out Of It And Start Living! [Surf Video Of The Day]

in #mood6 years ago

It's all in your head - you just have no idea how big your head is. - Lon Milo DuQuette

It's all in your head, all of it. If you don't like the story, change it.

How often do we make decisions based on the things that might happen? How often does the past interfere us? How often do we make decisions based on something unreal?

There is only one reality, and that is the one taking place right in front of you. Now.

Step out of your head and start living!

@surfermarly today

It's all mental management

Most things we're running away from are just in our head.

We are mourning about things that passed instead of cherishing what lies in front.

Just think about this for a second:

Everything that happened in the past only exists in our memories. If we don't want it to be part of our present anymore, we can just stop thinking about it.

Enjoy my today's video which is pretty real :-)

Thanks for being with me!

Remember: It's all in your head.

Much love,
Marly -

@surfermarly Buddha also told that focusing on your present may increase your confidence as well as boost your lifestyle but focusing on past and future will just create fear and depression . BTW great video and thanks for being a part of steemit community we want people like you who motivate us have a good day.

Sweet!
I'm pretty sure that Buddha's theory is correct. We often fear what lies in front and feel sad of what has passed, instead of just live the moment. It's not easy to forget about the little monsters in your head, but you can train that... like everything in life :-)

I'm glad you felt motivated, that was my purpose today! :-)

I actually read a famous book Think and Grow Rich Which clearly mentioned the thing which you beautifully explained through the video. I guess you must have a look at the book once.

Look what I ordered @dhabal :-)) Thanks for the recommendation!

omg !!!!!! I just never had imagined that you would remember it but as you read through this book you will come to know about the secrets of a successful guy well i was just an idiot playing here and there this book made me a successful entrepreneur and a crypto trader . @surfermarly you actually are really going to increase your mind power and become very successful in life . The best nature I loved about you is the action you took after reading my only one comment Great guy loved it :)

Hehe, well I never forget the valuable advices steemians are giving me from time to time :-) Actually I ordered the book directly after our conversation. Will start reading it soon (currently my family's here so I have no time, but then...)! Again thanks for the hint and your kind words :-)

My beloved @surfermarly,

Please don't read the book.

If you are dull, don't try to be intelligent or clever, but understand what it is that is making you dull.

If you are dull and try to be clever you will join the ranks of those who are pretty dull in their cleverness.

When you are capable of thinking clearly for yourself, are you not then the brightest of human beings?

You are...

Please do read and don't forget to share a post regarding your experience with the book . I would be very much obliged if you learn some value from it ya one thing more @surfermarly have a look on my latest post it is on someone special.

Sounds really interesting! I'll have a look at it online now :-)

That looks really exhilarating on the surfboard there. And that view you gave us is really immersive :) Awesome.

Hehe, thanks a lot! The real time on the board wasn't really representative today, but that actually doesn't matter to me. As long as I can put my head unter water, I'm good :-)

Enjoy your day, too!!

If it's get windy, you get bigger & better waves to ride on. ;-) Amazing video!

Seems very exciting Marly! And yes, it's all in your head. Why not put something really positive inside it. #MondayMotivation done right. :-P

Unfortunately today it was windy and the waves were little, haha! So it was rather a water fight than anything else :-D

Yeah, #mondaymotivation rockzzzz :-)

Thanks for stopping by, @hungryhustle!

I hope today is not windy and we get to see bigger waves. :-D Do you surf daily or quite often? No wonder "Surfer" is in your name. :-)

Haha, I'm too old for this already :-D I try to surf every 2-3 days, but always need a little break in-between. Last week I surfed two days consecutive. On the third day I couldn't move anymore - lol.

That nickname story is funny because when I joined Steemit I had just begun to surf. Apparently I had a feeling it could become more important to me in the future...:-) Also I liked the ambiguousness of the word surfing - both applicable for the sports in the water and online.

Haha. Interesting background story Marly. Loved it. So, you are surfing daily - The Waves And/Or The Internet. :-D See, you are not that old. ;-)

your videos always make me nostalgic for Famara. The wind could indeed be annoying at times but you indeed HAVE to go in the water :-)

you mentioned getting in the water with that wind was like riding a bull...

here are other people riding the bulls
https://steemit.com/crypto/@felander/i-found-out-whats-happened-to-the-bulls

Hahaha, now that's real bull riding though :-)) Very funny!

It's almost always windy here, so one gets used to it. If I don't do sports during more than 3 days, I start being nervous.

Very heart touching and very good motivational video. Thanks for sharing.

The key take away is.... Past experience creates fear and future expectation creates fear.... These both things are the main reason of depression...

Once we can learn to live in present, most of the stress can be avoided...

Through regular practice of meditation one can achieve a peaceful life.

That water looks super-refreshing today!
I couldn't agree more with today's sentiment - of mind management. Thanks for the Monday Motivation.... :)

Dear @surfermarly ,
You have a new follower . Thanks :-)

Great video fore the life

When the Self is Not, then there is Love.

None of us stepped out of the river, and we are always from the river, trying to reach the other shore.

When the past en the future is illusionary, what about the present?

Fantastic post friend congratulations
