patient, a noble character
at our discussion meeting last night we discussed the nature of patience, as a noble and noble trait,
Forbearance is refraining from anger and accepting whatever gift people give us, goodness or evil.
patiently divided into three:
- be patient for good
- Patience for evil
- be patient on trial
Forbearance of goodness is that we always guide our souls to always in goodness, to maintain good deeds wherever and whenever, no matter how difficult our circumstances, we keep doing good to our fellow human beings, doing good with the universe, including forgiving all the ugliness of people another to us, patience is indeed difficult, but very high value
Forbearance of evil, that is to refrain from bad deeds, we will never cheat, no matter how much opportunity in front of the eyes, we still avoid the evil of goodness in the crime of religion, or the ugliness of morality, or both.
patience above the ordeal is to accept with a graceful chest every trial of life that comes to us, both pain, hunger, sadness, disappointment and so forth
the indulgence in the belief of a Muslim is a duty, (regardless he is morally necessity),
so that someone who is endowed with the Lord a trial of life as sick, then with patience will be rewarded, and if impatient will be punished,
Imam Ali karamallahu wajhah (a companion of the Prophet Muhammad-also the 4th Islamic caliph) said while visiting a sick friend
"if you are patient for your sickness, then your illness will be the same and you will be rewarded, while if you are impatient, your pain will remain but you will be sinned".
patience here is not in the sense we do not seek treatment, but to accept our pain by considering it is the will and the provisions of God (we will discuss in the discussion of Tawakkal).
as for the way that we can have patience is to think life is only temporary, as good as whatever we are, whatever we are, no matter what we are, no matter what we are, in the end all will be lost, that death is the end of all life of the world, and there is life after dead, believing in the revenge of God, so in this life we always try to do our best to get a good reply from god.
