Día de la Madre.
Hoy celebramos el Día de la Madre, fecha que busca agasajar y honrar a ese ser maravilloso que nos trajo al mundo, sin embargo, esto no solo debe ser un día sino todos los días. Disfrutemos, agradezcamos y sobre todo demostremos ese gran amor que sentimos por ellas. Tenerlas junto a nosotros es una bendición.

En Venezuela, se celebra cada segundo domingo del mes de mayo y ocurre lo mismo en otros países del mundo como Ecuador, Estados Unidos, Colombia, Italia, Japón, entre otros. En el caso de España, se celebra el primer domingo de mayor y en Bielorrusia y Argentina es el tercer domingo de octubre.
Actualmente, se puede pensar que este día es solo una estrategia de mercadotecnia que desarrollan varias empresas para así vender los productos o ciertos servicios pero sus orígenes se remontan nada más y nada menos que a la Grecia antigua, debido a que, se le rendían honores a la madre de los dioses Hades, Poseidón y Zeus, llamada Rea.
En el caso de Panamá, se festeja el 8 de diciembre en medio del día de la Inmaculada Concepción.
