Hello there!!! Here I am sharing a pic that is almost a NSFW pic, but since the c-section is done below the belly button, but not too far down, I cant actually use the #dporn tag (I still accept dporn tokens if you like to send them my way tho! Lol).

Let me tell you by this time last year I was determined to have my baby vaginally, I wanted a natural birth cause all the reasons you read about how is better for your recovery and it helps with a more quickly latch of the baby to your breast for feedings, etc… But! My baby had other plans, he from the get go wasn’t helping first he wasn’t in position (head down) then he put himself in position but manage to put the umbilical cord around his neck and got his arm stuck in front of him so if I push him out the best outcome would have been a broken arm the other outcome possible was having a baby strangle to death by his own umbilical cord, yes, the kid just likes to make me mad, so I was told by the doctors that for my baby’s own safety I had to have a C-section.

I was mad as hell, I hated the idea of it, and to top it all, the c-sections are more expensive, so we needed to come up with more money, (money that Steem helped me get!!).

Anyways the whole story is for another post, this post is actually an appreciation post, I would like to appreciate my C-section Scar.

Why Would I appreciate a Scar?

I carry that scar with so much pride I actually wish it was in a place that I could show off more without being seen as a striper, I love how my OB did a wonderful job making it so small and almost a line you can mistake for stretch marks if you don't look closely, I marvel how she manage to pull out the baby from such a little whole in my body, it was not the natural whole where he was suppose to come out so, she had to move my organs a side to thorugh that whole to make way for him to pass through and come out into the world.

Also, during this procedure I asked for my tubes to be cut (no more babies for me thank you very much!) and this scar represents how my choice was respected and how I have control over my own body and how I took control over something I didn’t want (the c-section) and got out of it something I did! (the baby and the cutting of the tubes).

I love my scar, I looked at it with pride is a sign of how much I love my kid, how I would rather get cut into half for him to be safe and healthy.
