Dare To Fail And Rise Again - Never Give Up!

in #motivation6 years ago (edited)

Failure is inevitable. Often times, things wouldn't just go as expected. You'll plan to go one way and you'll find yourself on the path of another. In fact, the process of living is continuous process of failing only that we don't pay much attention when the matter in question isn't one of greater importance to us. Do we not often plan to meet up with a deadline but ended up not meeting up? Or to visit our relative but ended up postponing the visitation or could not make up with the timing? Even, sometimes we anticipate on making a delicious meal but ended up serving our friends or family something quite bereft of sweetness. Such is Life... In fact, such is our relationship with Failure.

On our path to Progress we are bound to encounter so many obstacles that would otherwise be regarded as Failure by ourselves or other but which are in fact the process involved in achieving Success. Often than not, successful people have made us to realise attaining success is not a piece of cake and whomever desire it shouldn't be afraid to fail.

While at times failure could o
only be experienced once (and of course I can't tell of a successful person who only failed once before succeeding), sometimes one would fail several times before finally succeeding like the case of that legendary inventor, Thomas Edison and his invention, the light bulb, and the writer, J.K Rowling, and her superb work, Harry Potter, to mention a few.

Be sure that I do not intend to exalt failure nor to glorify its outcomes but rather I have intended to make us realise that we should be open to failure and infact begin to exhibit positive attitude toward its occurrence.

Well, if they hadn't gone through the process of failure, I do not really believe they could have emerged as a Success - no one does. Though no one would like to be reckoned a failure, yet failure doesn't mean one has really failed but rather one is still on the process of learning.

According to Henry Ford, Founder of Ford Motor Company,

Failure is simply the opportunity to begin again, this time more intelligently.

What is more truer than this? We usually perform better on tasks after having tried it and failed upon it. Like the little issue of cooking I mentioned in the first paragraph, I know so many friends and relatives who don't get the recipe on the first trial and I bet you'll reckon that no one usually does. That's failing. But does that mean they'll give up? I don't know of anyone if had given up simply because he wouldn't get a recipe on the first trial, even the second third and forth.

So is it with every other things.

According to Winston Churchill, former British prime minister, orator and author,

Success consists of going from failure to failure without loss of enthusiasm.

So when you fail on that task on hand, be sure that you have only begun on the path of success and perhaps that failure could be the proverbial step on the journey of thousand steps. Dare to take another another and another and another. Exhaust your strength on every steps and perhaps you could be on the path of giving us the electric bulb or even something more marvel.

Just never give up. Never!
