ARE YOU A GOOD PERSON?

Growing up Mama was always bent on raising good and Godly children. She would always say "Kids, whatever you become don't forget to be a good person". Yes the goal is to be good because being godly is a little bit mapped out. Like we know godly people are people who do things God's way.

But what do good people do?
Do they volunteer at Old and disabled people's camps?
Do they help out people who are in need?
Do they fight for the less privileged?
Do they put others before themselves?
Are they the people that are liked by everyone?

Yes, I have always been inquisitive as to who a good person is?
I got so lost in it that sometimes I get to a place and get so cautious and sort of pretentious that I lose my originality in the process and when the real me start surfacing it would be like a facade well played. But hey!, It's wasn't entirely my fault, I didn't really get a clear and bankable definition of a good person

Over the years I have come to realize that you can't fake being good, if you are a good person you are a good person.No two ways about it.

There was a day My Mum and her late Friend went to a place together and the man they are to look for was "The Bad Man". Now this was a man in his late 40's looking handsome, owned an orphanage home, gives to charity and also a human rights activist. But still yet he chose to tag himself as "The Bad Man"..They couldn't help but ask why? and he said the only people left in the world are bad people, the good ones are dead. And he asked "Why is it that no matter how wicked a man was, people would still say nice things at his funeral?".

This is to say no matter how much good you put on fleek, you will still end up bad to those who wouldn't dare to recognize it.
There are three audience to your attitude.
•The Judge
•The Prosecutor
•The Defense.

To every action, attitude, character, reaction and feeling you exhibit, you will always have someone to;

*Judge you for it- Telling you the final outcome of the attitude. Examining your "motives" and weighing whether you were right or wrong to have acted that way. Putting you out as either Good, Bad or Ugly. This people are the Verdicts. They make conclusions on your Character.

*Prosecute you for it- Now the prosecutors are those that would take your intentions, twist it, find the epileptic side of it, convert it to a sour motive and deliver it as Evil on your part. Now this people need not to understand your angle or your motives, all they need is an interpretation from their end and bamshikibam! They use it against you. The funny thing about this audience is that they might confuse you into thinking "Maybe, just maybe they are actually right" but trust me that's what they know how to do best. They are the Prosecutors!

*Defend you for it- Now this people are as dangerous as they are charming, they understand your motives, they hear you out, they defend you. Telling you that you did the right thing. Give you cold water, Pat your backs, treat your wounds, mend your broken hearts and even serve you lunch. This people make you feel good about yourself. Trust you need much of them as much as you don't need them.

Now the answer to the Topic Question is this- Everyone is a good person. Initially until proven otherwise by the audience.
I am a good person to myself and for myself.
But my audience are allowed to have their opinion until otherwise.

With that in mind, I have been able to walk into anywhere, do me and leave them to decide which branch of the tree I am.
