The story about the condoms

My experience taught me to distinguish four groups of people. This division has been very helpful to me and I will explain it to you by telling a story about the condoms. In my opinion, this will tremendously speed up your way to success.

The first group of people wear a condom on the head. Thus, they protect themselves from negative information. Since this group is closed from each side, valuable information can’t get there. Each time I recognize a person from this group, I immediately see a condom on their head and know that further conversation is unproductive.

The second group of people also wears a condom on the head to protect itself from negative information. Unlike the first group, valuable information still gets to this group of people, it has knowledge but also has a fear to show that knowledge. We have already said that knowledge is potential power. It has always been a challenge for me to try to take off the condom from that person’s head and to free that person from fear because there might be great a possibility of setting free the enormous quantity of accumulated knowledge under that condom.

The third group of people has no knowledge and condoms on their heads either. This group of people is often under the influence of others and emotionally unstable. A Person from this group sounds like this (Why are you dressed like that? Why do you spend your time with John, Ray and Thomas ? Why don’t you let your hair grow longer? Don’t sit with them – sit with us! Why are you bothering with that...?) You should help such people gain knowledge and become more successful in all respects. Taking advantage over such people is a sin and it’s not worthy. The fourth group of people has the knowledge and don’t wear condoms on their heads. People from this group are wide open and are emotionally stable. They own practical knowledge and know with who, how, when and what to talk. You could hear a lot from this kind of person and you should learn from them. This simple partition will help you to recognize and listen to other people.
