Don't be a yesterday's man.

Winning is not supposed to be about what we once were but about what we will keep being and how we will keep moving ahead to the future.
Staying tied to that win from yesterday cannot take you anywhere. You will never amount to anything spectacular if you are a yesterday's man.
I have met many people who tell these stories from yesterday of how they were the mac. They will so much revel you with their stories that, you will be taken away in their world for one moment.
They have nothing in the now and can not get nothing, but they reigned supreme from past.
Whenever someone starts with a "I used to have or I used to be" in a sentence, just know that, you are being entertained by a yesterday's man.
Being a historian is different from being a yesterday's man, so don't get it twisted.
Allow the goals scored yesterday propel you into scoring more goals today and in the future. The style or tactics used for that which is from the past cannot work for what is obtained today.
Remembering how it happened and how it made you feel is a good thing. But to do something more today, you just need to stay focused on the new chapter and allow the moment push you into doing something profitable.
Live for today and what the next day holds. Do not live for yesterday, it already lived for you so you can live for better days.
Agreed! The past is only a reference point at best - it's so grounding to just be in the present moment, where this, and only this exists.

Brother, this is deep. Many are living in the glories of their yesterdays which have become shadows in the present. Success is meant to be sustainable. Each day should be an add to the previous.
