HOW TO DEAL WITH LONELINESS IN SINGLEHOOD.

Loneliness happens to us at some points of our lives

As singles, there is the possibility that loneliness will rear its head.
This is especially if you have been looking to convert relationships to marriage "But have failed"
So, the question is;
Where do you find satisfaction when you’re lonely?
Where do you turn when you can’t stand another day of living all by yourself?
When you are sick and tired of being at in the state that you are, where do you turn to?

• Some turn to food for comfort.

• Others binge on movies to forget their worries.

• Some of us even try to fill the hole in our soul with spiritual activity.

• We join yet another Small Group and hope that by staying busy we will forget about our loneliness.

But if loneliness must be cured, it pays to stop trying to numb yourself or feed yourself.
While loneliness is painful, God’s presence is your only hope for healing.

He’s the answer that will fill the hole in your soul when you find yourself alone.
We all know this, right?

God is always closer than you think and He will never let you down.
He’s promised to never leave you nor forsake you and He’s just a whisper away.

So, Instead of running from your loneliness, why not start seeing in your loneliness an invitation into God’s presence?
Many have entered into relationships they shouldn't because they dread to be lonely
Many have entered only to come out worse off
Worse off than they first started

Be strong and of good courage, fear not, nor be afraid of them: for the Lord thy God, he it is that doth go with thee; he will not fail thee, nor forsake thee.

It pays to be of courage and manage the loneliness that you feel.

Inability to manage this loneliness is what makes people seek wholeness in sex
And sex instead of filling the void, digs open the void even farther
Some seek wholeness in masturbation
They pass loneliness time inhabits that needs to be replaced
You will find God far better than you ever in your loneliness.

He’s the rock you can always run to.
Jesus is the one that sticks closer than brother
I do not know the type of loneliness you feel
I do not know for how long you have been trying to fill the void
I do not know how you have tried to manage this void you feel
Yes, you may be born again
Yes, you may already be spirit filled and all.
But you need to always fill up space the loneliness with God's active presence
He knows all that you feel
He knows you ought to have been married
He is aware that your mates are raising a family
He is the rock that never fails. HIDE YOUR LONELY SELF IN HIM
Bury your worries in him. Exchange your loneliness for strength.

• You will come out better refined and stronger.
• What you do when you are lonely matters.
• Where you turn to for comfort matters.

Finally, evaluate yourself to know the times when you are most prone to being lonely.
And at those times turn to God's word instead so that you do not engage in what you shouldn't do
Create a confession or declaration which you declare when the feelings of loneliness overwhelm you
It is the plan of the devil to make you feel lonely even when you say you are a believer
Fight that feeling so that you do not fall into what you shouldn't do
