HAVING THE RIGHT CIRCLE

I saw a tweet by Joel Osteen recently, about having the right amount of people in your life and not just the right people, but the one's that are further along in life than you. I mused on it and then concluded that we need people with bigger and better vision.

People who can influence lives positively, who are more experienced. They should not be in your circle or league of friends, these are the one's you can actually learn from and aspire to be. We all need to be exposed to new levels, so that you can get there too. This also reminds me of the impact of mentorship in our lives.

Mentors are people, who share their vast wealth of knowledge and experience to guide individuals at the different stages or points of their lives. This mentors counsel people, help influence their thoughts and journeys positively. They help shed more light on issues during a person's confused state, either on marriage, career among others. Having a mentor and looking up to them helps us in setting and achieving our goals.

Sometimes, we are open to a lot of resources but don't know how to channel it into a beneficial skill or wealth. Do not be frustrated, keep learning and growing, your perspective will continually change and new opportunities will open up. Teachings are priceless, taking tremendous step is left to you.
