WHEN YOU FOUND YOURSELF IN CHRIST JESUS
Meditation For The Day~Everything About You Is Good In Christ.
Too often God's children qualify their lives based on what they did or didn't do. So, when they do something nice, they consider themselves as good. When they do not do something nice, they judge themselves as bad. Well God doesn't judge that way! That isn't to say, that God is pleased when we do wrong because He isn't. However, what's important is that the Lord knows that the deposite of His life inside us, when allowed to dominate, should always keep us in the part of righteousness.
Therefore, rather than judge your life based on what you did or didn't do, we are admonished to judge our lives on what was written concerning you. What has God said concerning you. Phil 1:6 says "That the communication of thy faith may become effectual by the acknowledging of every good thing which is in you in Christ Jesus." The part of interest to me in this verse is the portion that says "acknowledging of every good thing which is in you in Christ Jesus." Brother, sister, there are good things in you since you came to Christ. Focus on those those things and see them being worked out in you by the spirit of God, that’s the fruits of the spirit!
