Secure Your Future
Your future depends on you, though not solely. Where you want to be tomorrow and what you want to have tomorrow can only be determined by you. No one can build your future for you because only you know what you want.
Every man has a kind of future he craves for and in most cases, generally, we all want a beautiful, prosperous, and successful future. But it does not just stop at being desirous, you have to work for what you want. If you do not work for it, you will never get it. It is never enough to just have a dream but you got to work to make that dream a reality.
Many people are of the school of thought that their future is in God's hand and that only God knows what will become of them in the future. I would not agree less but I beg to differ a little bit. Your future is not entirely in God's hand; the greater determinant factor of what your future will be is YOU! You might end up useless if you keep going with the mindset that your future is in God's hand.
Get up, set things in place, put your hand and heart to work and then hope for the best. Never let anyone decide your future for you cause you might not like their choice.
YOUR TOMORROW STARTS TODAY
Preparation is key to everything. What you do today determines what get tomorrow. There is a common saying from the Bible that 'whatever you sow is what you will reap' and it is very true. If you go about wasting your time on irrevancies and things that do no count then the tendency for your future to be shattered is on the high.
Show me a man that is living successfully today and I will show you a man that worked hard and smart (preparation) yesterday. You have only today to make your tomorrow great. If you misuse your today then your tomorrow will be nothing to write home about.
The quality of your future is tantamount to the quality of things you do today. So, to secure your tomorrow, you have to secure your today first. Invest the time you have now in what is productive and not the order way round. The difference between a rich man and a poor man is what they do with the time they have. Ever wondered why some are poor and some living in affluence? It is the time factor. We all have the same hours of day but some spend it wisely and judiciously whereas others spend it carelessly. The ball is in your court!
HOW TO SECURE YOUR FUTURE?
Resist Laziness: Laziness is one thing that can ruin a man's life and future. An indolent man does not work rather he spends his time indulging in unproductive acts and frivolities. So, for your future to be secured, you have to work, work and work.
Stay Focused: Do not be easily distracted by events and happenings around you else you will be carried away. As a business man, you have to stay focused in the business and not jumping from one to another, maybe due to the facts that you feel the other businesses are growing better. In whatever you are venturing into in life, ensure to stay focused.
Think Creatively: Creativity is necessary in this evolving and changing world of ours. Spend time to think on things how to better yourself and the society. Be innovative!
The God-factor: Above all, put your trust in God alone and not man. Commit your future to Him through prayers. If you are yet to make Him your Lord and saviour, then you have to do so. Only in Him can you have a sure and secured future.
Securing your future is very possible. Start now!
