Stop trying to impress people. Stop trying to beat yourself up at other people's opinion. Life will either bless you or bury you. It is not what others say about you that matters, but it is what you say to yourself when they are done talking.

Be your own man. Stop seeking or looking for acceptance from everyone. Not everyone will like you. Some people feel threatened by your presence and your achievements, so they will do just anything to bring you down, which is why you should not take their words too much to heart.

Some people will dislike you for unknown reasons. Some people will just choose to hate you and it has nothing to do with you or what you might have done. Learn to understand this so that you won't feel disappointed all the time.

At your absolute best, you still won't be good enough for some people and at your worst, there are still some people that will accept you and love you just the way you are. Stop beating yourself up too much. Be self critical and always seek to be better than who you were yesterday.
