When you have people who adds nothing to you in the tiniest way possible, then that is the time to let go of the baggage. Know your place in people's lives. Be a value adder. When you add nothing to an organization and it is time to downsize, they will definitely let you go with minimal apology and this is also applicable to humans. When you notice someone adds nothing to your life and yet they make you feel even worse off than they met you, that is when you need to cut the rob and let them go. Never apologize for wanting to surround yourself with the best people possible.
In life, you are either solving a problem or creating one. Everyone gravitate towards problem solvers or value adders and problem creators should be sent away. We all want to go to where we are celebrated and not where we are tolerated.
As much as you are to cut off those who adds nothing to you, also know that when you add nothing to others too, it is only a matter of time before they cut you off. Everyone is busy doing for themselves what they feel best and you should do the same.
