Take Action

Wishes do not translate into results. The harder you wish for something, the more you just ignite your emotions to it BUT when you put in the right action, it translates into result.

Most people are lazy and will not want to take actions that can translate into results. If you want to know the great and mighty things that the seed in your hand can produce, then you must plant it. Get to the root of your negative, careless and carefree mindsets and deal with them. Until the roots of indecisions are removed, they will continue to produce one bad fruit after another.

Seeing the post of one of my friends on facebook, i was drawn to an incident that happened while we were undergraduates. It was during an examination period. I had a group of friends who disliked reading and would prefer to cheat during exams. I became lazy to read and i was not comfortable cheating. After two exams that i did not perform well, I started staying up late to read after hanging out and wasting time with them. I overworked myself because i just could not keep away from these guys.

During the period of the exams, two of them got caught and faced suspension that delayed them for about two years each. At the end of that day, after i had graduated from school, they were still battling with the school authority.

Sometimes, when i look back at that period i realized how a simple mistake could have changed my life. What would have happened to me if i resulted to cheating instead of studying?

You cannot make a change when you sit down doing nothing. The future of Nigeria lies in the action or inaction we put in today. We have to come to the point of understanding that whether we do something or not, there is always a result that explains what we have done or failed to do.

Go get your PVC if you havent; and if you have, decide the vote and ensure that Nigeria is in a better place after the next election.
