DONT BE ASHAMED OF YOUR WORK

Hello everyone,

I would not tag this a poem but i will just write it down in stanzas as it comes to my head. Smiles.

Its not a crime to hustle
Hustling up and down in the rugged city
Have to roll up my sleeve
Because i am not ashamed of my hustle

Like a mechanic
My overall is dirty and full of oil
I will still wear it
Its my identity and i am not ashamed of it

The yoruba adage will say
There is money in feaces
People do this business and are proud of it
So why will i be ashamed of my hustle

Many benefactor has passed you by
Not because you are not so good
Your work is so perfect
Just because you are ashamed of your hustle

One day your hustling will pay
Dont be ashamed of it
Let everyone know you with it
Dont be ashamed of your hustle

You did not have formal education
Education does not only take place in schools
You learnt your hustle too
Speak up and be proud of your hustle

This inspiration came from a gathering when its was announced that a carpenter is needed, a friend who was a carpenter refused to talk and we had to urge to speak up while his excuse was he was shy because he was in the midst of learned people.

He would has missed out a contract just because he was ashamed of his hustle.
