When with a clear goal, mind the procedures
When a farmer finds it very easy and interesting to cultivate a piece of land, went through stress to make ridges, started planting, paid for security and after then sit down awaiting harvest time to come, making plans on how to sell the produce and all that period he refuses and neglected the point at which he suppose to wet the farm, what will be his reward? LOSS $ REGRET .
In life, some things just won't happen automatically, there are steps and procedures you are meant to follow and failure or negligence resulting into you missing one step will result in loss.
So it is not just having a good plan, having a better beginning because if you later failed to follow up on the steps that are meant to actualize that goal, it will only result into a waste of time and resources.
Your dream requires hard work, seriousness and enough time with follow up on step.
