Outside of our minds and our pride and our confidence in ourselves there is an environment that does not treat us kindly, but may refer to our shortcomings, which we classify as a direct threat to our arrogance and thus an insult. At this stage the mind begins to work on all fronts, making us feel better about ourselves.

Everyone thinks he is better than others, but this conviction is difficult to maintain when the other is already better than him. How can the mind deal with this reality? Compensation is the first thing that we do as we begin to compare ourselves, but in other ways.

When all attempts at the mind to adapt and circumvent the threatened reality of vanity fail, the last step is to eliminate the most threatening link to the ego. There are different stages here. The first stage is a direct word like "Who?". This word carries more than one meaning. The first meaning is: Who is this person whom you praise, I do not know? Or who you are to stand out my disadvantage, and you have no place for me at all. In contrast, the word may have the meaning of denying any good knowledge of it, and by highlighting your disadvantage directly or indirectly does not concern you. Unfortunately, this approach is very common, and the biggest proof of this is the huge number of friends, or even family members whose relations have been destroyed by competition.

It is our ideas that generate everything, and accidents are important only within the limits to which we allow them to instill in us negative destructive ideas. Therefore, we have to trust in our ability. In crises and difficulties, successful people keep hope unshakable, which is the reason for the return of success. Imagine your inner world as a field where every idea of ​​your thoughts grows, and then observe the emotions and thoughts that arise in yourself and ask: What fruit do you give this idea? If this fruit is of the kind that you do not want to harvest, you only have to grab the small seed without fear and put their place it a good seed.
