Star wars a new hope
Today I review the movie that’s started it all, A New Hope. This movie was the beginning of my Favorite Franchise ever. Considering it low budget, George Lucas managed to create a universe that is still expanding to this day. A New Hope is flat out amazing. The shots are beautiful and the practical effects are insanely good, especially for 1977. The acting is amazing. I love everything about this movie. Darth Vader is one of, if not THE, greatest movie villain ever. Luke Skywalker has an amazing character arc. C3PO and R2-D2 are great as comic reliefs. Alec Guinness does a great job making Obiwan who he is, and he is one of the reasons Obiwan is one of my favorite characters. It was a bold move by Lucas to follow them for the first scenes in the movie. The different aliens are so unique and the themes/scores are still great to this day. They really do a great job making the aesthetics for the creatures, especially in the Mos Eisley Cantina. The effects just wow me. The soundtrack is iconic, enough said. The A New Hope is amazing and gets a perfect score of 10/10.
