Have you ever imagined getting lost with a girl you do not know yet? And it happened in a thick snow mountain with no one there? Will you fall in love at such a precarious moment? Or you will feel love when you want to save yourself.

Being in a relationship is a hard job. Maintaining that relationship is already a struggle to survive.

At first, this is not a love story or a romantic story between Alex (Kate Winslet) and Ben (Idris Elba). The story begins when Alex wants to board a plane to attend her wedding immediately.

But because the plane is delayed, she is forced to find a way out. At the airport, she sees Ben who (apparently) has the same problem with her.

In short, they took the initiative to rent a small plane who can fly right away. Unfortunately, when the plane was on the air, the pilot was hit by a stroke, and eventually, the plane crashed in the dense snowy mountains and uninhabited.

There's only the two of them

After the plane crashed, they fainted for a moment, and finally Ben opened his eyes, and learned that they were on a snowy and uninhabited mountain. Ben looked in several directions, and found the pilot dead, Ben finally buried him there.

Ben, who works as a neurologist, tries to treat Alex with a little stock on the plane, Alex then opens her eyes and knows the situation both of them. A panicked situation ensued, when Ben wanted to keep waiting, but Alex felt she had to find a way out from their problems.

Their journey in the middle of the jungle made them both understand that in order to stay alive, they had to be together. In that journey, then both fell in love. But unfortunately, Alex already has a lover who is waiting for her for the wedding.

The journey was not easy, though then what we expected really happened, Alex and Ben were both in love. I really enjoy every acting from both of them, from start to finish the movie.

This is a true story that has been packed in the novel, I am amazed by the acting of Idris Elba, who previously had never played a romantic figure like I witnessed in "The Mountain Between Us".

In addition, Kate Winslet was also able to portray a formidable woman, her appearance is so epic and satisfying.
