Money Heist! Is a third season necessary?

This series is underrated, I must confess. I wonder why it's not hyped and compared with the likes of Game of Thrones, Prison Break and Breaking Bad. I'm not saying it's better than them, but if these series got an A, then Money Heist deserves an A, too. Perhaps, it didn't get much attention because it's Spanish. I believe several people watched it anyway. I don't understand Spanish, too; the subtitle was enough to get me glued to it. I guess subscribers and viewers asked for more, and that's why there will be a third season. The first episode will be released on the 19th of this month. I actually don't see a reason for the third season. It ended well, I presume. I just hope they don't fuck it up, because that's what happens if producers can't leave their work as it should be. They tend to follow the money and what their fans want. This time, they (the fans) wanted a third season, so they gave them one. After watching the trailer, I realized it's another story line.

What was Season 1 and 2 about?

Robbery! Yes, and it's not just any robbery, it's an almost impossible task. The Royal mint of Spain was robbed. The robbers actually believed they didn't steal from anyone since the money they printed themselves isn't anybody's, not even the government. They printed it, so it's theirs. The master planer, although he claimed his father planned it all before he died gathered eight people with very good ability to aid his mission. Not everyone made it alive at the end, but the mission was successful. How it all went down is what you should see if you haven't seen it yet. If you loved Prison Break, you will appreciate this one more.

Where money is being printed should have a lot of securities, right? Yes, the royal mint of Spain actually have a lot that shouldn't and wasn't expected to be breached, but this master planner found a way through and made robbery look easy. You might have a feeling of robbing the mint in your country after watching this, please don't! It's fiction and I wouldn't say it's impossible either. It's just amazing watching the bad guys and hoping they don't get caught.

What to expect in season 3

After splitting the money they stole, they went different ways, but the police kept looking for them. The heist was all over the country, painting a disdain picture about the police department. They made them look incompetent. Robbing one of the most protected place in the country was a big slap on thier face, so they kept looking for them hoping to redeem their image. They caught one of them and locked him up in a very secured place. They were hoping he would spill out every information they need to catch others, so the members came together and devised a plan to rescue the member that was caught.

I haven't watched it yet. Don't be surprised I have so much information about it, it's all in the trailer released. This is more like a rescue story, man heist. The overview we knew has changed.

I believe they will steal money though. There were scenes where they distributed money and made it look like a diversion. The money heist will definitely be added into the story. Nevertheless, the story line is gradually changing. It was a series about a robbery, what happens after that shouldn't be revealed. If they want to, then another series should have been created for it. I'm among those that can't wait to see the incoming episodes, but I still believe a third season is unnecessary.
