Don't mess with Jackie.

A highly under rated film, it is a very good thriller that grabs your attention, manages to keep you very interested and focused. This is partly due to a good plot that isn't fully predictable along with decent action scenes. The action isn't over the top for a few reasons, one Jackie is ageing, and two the movie is much more than an action flick.

The movie tells two stories, one of a man seeking justice for his daughters death. The other one more about Irish politics, the IRA and power. The two stories do combine and provide a much more in depth story, making this movie a hidden gem.

The first story is about Quan (Jackie Chan) who is a simple business man with one thing in his life that matters, his daughter. When she is killed in a bombing, Quan wants justice. He first tries the police and the proper channels but things aren't progressing.

There are political implications. Quan however, must have justice so he begins his own investigation. This leads to an Irish government official, Liam (Pierce Brosnan). Both men are more than what they appear to be. Can an immigrant (Quan) take on a local Irish boy (Quan) and find justice?
