Thor (2011)
Not overly complicated.
Almost exactly what I was expecting, Hemsworth plays Thor very well bring in some comic moments along with the action. Hemsworth is supported very well by the other actors and together they make a very good film. This is helped by the screenplay, which is well written and provides a brief background into the Marvel Universe for those not familiar with it.
We have as the title would suggest Thor, whom is cast out of Asgard for invading another planet without his father's (the kings) approval. For this he is stripped of his power and sent to Earth to live among the humans. Surprise, he falls in love, regains his powers and saves the Earth. All in all an enjoyable movie which is worth watching if you like action, the Marvel Universe or any of the cast.
Oh, Hemsworth is my favorite as Thor (as you might know by now)!! Bringing the fun and great jokes into the Marvel universe - he is just awesome :) I must admit, the latest Thor movie was the best of them all, but I totally enjoyed the earlier Thor movies as well!
I do also like all the Thor movies.
