Sanju Movie Review

Vidhu Vinod Chopra, Rajkumar Hirani - Director: Rajkumar Hirani - Cast: Ranbir Kapoor, Vicky Kaushal, Paresh Rawal, Anushka Sharma, Manishs Koirala, Dia Mirza, Sonam Kapoor, Jim Sarbh, Boman Irani - Rating: 3.5 stars - It is an understatement to state Sanju, the biopic based on the life span of Popular celebrity Sanjay Dutt, is the most awaited Bollywood release at some time, and stands out all the boxes. Having built an amazing body of work together like Munna Bhai MBBS and 3 Idiots, manager Rajkumar Hirani and producer Vidhu Vinod Chopra have been famous for their remarkable psychological storytelling.

And this one remains endearing from begin to finish. The film is named After Sanjay, but it's a tribute to his own parents, Sunil and Nargis Dutt. Though acquitted of terrorism crimes, he was charged with possession of a terrorist weapon. A lot of Sanjus narrative is an inner tale of an upright and humble dads trials to make things right for his own son. Paresh Rawal plays the use of Sunil Dutt with no exceptionally strung, even in the most striking conditions, true to the way the senior Dutt always conducted himself. Another relationship the film actually delves into is the friendship with Kamlesh, played quite endearingly by celebrity Vicky Kaushal.

He stands out as the loyal friend who'll always give it to you straight. Then there's Sanjay himself. Sorry, I mean Ranbir Kapoor portraying the use of Sanjay. His mannerisms have been so uncanny especially as the older Sanjay that you could forget it's Kapoor, and that's an accurate adulation of his own acting skills in the movie. Throughout the promotions of the film, director Hirani maintained that this isn't A film to glorify Sanjay, but to tell a great narrative. He does stand accurate to that statement. His leadership is quite matter of fact at relation to the episodes, but very thorough with the emotions expressed by the main characters. Manisha Koirala as Nargis Dutt is brilliant. Other supporting actors, Anushka Sharma, Dia Mirza and Sonam Kapoor, do their job, however This really is Kapoor and Kaushals movie all the way. While it's based on Sanjays life story, don't expect to indulge in the film star person too much and just watch it for its narrative and performances. Lets not deny our obsession with the private lives of famous people, and consider that movie a rare insight in their human side.
