MSP-Waves New Show(s) Announcement

An exciting week lies ahead here on MSP-Waves. We are adding not one, not two, but three new quality shows to our lineup - and we here at MSP-Waves are excited about it.

Oh, and this just in: The MSP-Waves Audience chat on Discord will now show Chat from our VIMM Channel, too. @r0nd0n's innovative ideas and @chiren's webhook genius! Thank you both! It's awesome!

Dear MSP-Waves Audience,

One Show Cancelled

While we are pleased to add three great new shows to our programming, we are also sad to announce the cancellation of one show: The Dancing Dreamers. This show was hosted for nearly a year by Saipan Damashii (@rodeo670.) However, due to conflicting schedules and new work commitments, Saipan was unable to host his show regularly.

@r0nd0n and I decided to cancel this show on MSP-Waves. Keeping Dancing Dreamers on MSP-Waves would have been unfair to Saipan due to the pressures of a rigid Radio Schedule. It was equally unfair to our listeners, who would turn up at show time -- disappointed. With Vimm.tv and other Steem-linked d-apps, we think it is much easier for Saipan's listeners to catch his great RAVE-Culture-Show on a less taxing schedule. We love Sapian and wish him success wherever he decides to take his show.

We are excited to announce another new DJ to our programming! Beginning this Sunday, November 11, from 7 pm - 9 pm UTC, @carrieallen will be hosting 🎵DECADES RADIO🎵.

Let's learn a little about that...

THE SHOW

🎵It's music! It's chatter! It's dancing! Well, Carrie dances... on screen... and hopes you will too! Each week @carrieallen will create the most perfect playlist of ONE decade. That's right, just one. It could be the 1980s or the 1950s, but you'll have to tune it to find out. Plus, if you're really good, she'll take requests.

💭To top it all off, you'll get to hear all her thoughts about stuff-n-things. Got a question? Really feel like you can't go on without her opinion? Just ask! She'll give it to ya.

🤣It's very possible this show will have you splitting your sides laughing. Come prepared. Bring water and a towel to wipe the sweat from your brow.

A bit about Carrie

For starters, she's awesome. Really. Go out and spread that around, to everyone you meet. ... I'll wait...😎

👉👉Now for the nitty-gritty. @carrieallen has been on the platform for just over a year. In that time she's participated in many a thing. From the notorious "@papapepper Selfie Challenge" to joining #thealliance and now being a Helper in @helpie. She's currently part of the Steem Monsters team writing lore, editing and helping promote. She's also this month's Make a Minnow winner!

📺Carrie started streaming 8 or 9 months ago, trying her hand at several different things. Many a project came and went, but a few things stuck. Every Friday night 6PM EST/11PM UTC she runs 🤩 THE PLAY HOUSE🤩 in her own discord, STEEMSTAR. THE PLAYHOUSE is the only interactive sketch comedy show on the STEEM BLOCKCHAIN. If you've never been... and you are generally a happy person who likes to laugh, ya might stop by for a spell. Most scripts are written by her dear sweet husband @chrisroberts (and they are AMAZING), but they are always welcoming of new writers and players! Added bonus: If you're a 👹 @STEEMMONSTERS👹 fan, there is a new STEEM MONSTERS TAVERN episode each week where we get 'to know' the monsters of the Splinterlands.

From the time she was very young, @littlescribe has always enjoyed contemplating mysteries of the universe. But the biggest mystery of all has not actually been supernovas or plank length theory. It has been the simple act of FINDING someone who will talk about them with her!

Personality - @automaticjack

Enter @automaticjack, a slightly eccentric, unassuming fellow, born in the 80s, and rather equipped with a mind of his own. The two met in Hawaii in 2012 and hit it off immediately while they found themselves discussing the various implications of the Double Slit Experiment. They've been friends ever since.

@automaticjack brings a certain breadth of knowledge to the conversation. Couple this with equal parts socratic logic and bone dry sense of humor, and it makes for a slightly off-beat approach to otherwise "overdone" topics.

We know you will love his unique take on things.

Personality - @littlescribe

@littlescribe has a spontaneous, expressive personality, with a built in system of wit and charm that puts others at ease. You might recognize her from her Dear Littlescribe show, the Steem Monster Show, her appearance on the Space Carrie show, and various tech videos she has published on the blockchain.

@littlescribe has felt "at home" discussing multiple subjects with PALnet regulars. She finds it almost impossible NOT to take advantage of the high level of intelligence and expertise running amuk on the station!

She'd like you to join her each weekend, right after the Mayor Town Hall (with @aggroed), and right before Coffee and Philosophy (with @clayboyn) -- so she can take you on a ride of tangents.

Third New Show: The Decentralized News Show

The Decentralized News Show is an interactive Livestream hosted by @truthforce that is dedicated to covering Current Events/News/Politics/Analysis of MSM/Decentralization/Freedom/Liberty. The show will feature multiple members from our @informationwar group such as @gregorypatrick, @chiepa1, @wakeupnd, and @fakeinternetnews. We will also bring on guests from time to time.

About Me!

I am someone who keeps anonymous online (hint about my name's symbolism), but there are some things I will share with the world!

I really dislike bullies, because as a kid I was bullied pretty badly. I learned life lessons very early on that you have to defend yourself and fight back against aggression. In today's world of mega-corporations, we are being censored everywhere, "bullied" if you will. I don't like that, and I am going to do what I can to build up decentralized censorship resistant groups/platforms.

The truth is something I value over any political party/ideology. If one were to label my political affiliation it would center and or moderate right. Raised listening to Rush Limbaugh and reading links that DrudgeReport posted. Always have been a registered independent.

Why did I sign up to lead the Information War? I have been involved in cryptocurrency and decentralized things since about 2010 and am a Legendary Bitcoin Talk Forums member. The reality of centralized systems ruining everything is what drove me to find out how one would go about creating decentralization. Steemit provides a unique opportunity to do this via "upvoting" which assigns a Stake to a user. The more Stakes(SP) a user has the more they can interact/post onto a blockchain that is censorship resistant. The benefits of having a Stake in such a system cannot be currently comprehended. This technology is going to change everything and we are all early adopters of building a better world!

InformationWar Project And Our Purpose

I am the leader of the @informationwar. Our tag #informationwar on Steemit is for posts discussing Information War, Propaganda, and Disinformation, which happens across many subjects. We are a peaceful and non-violent movement that sees information is being held back by mega-corporations that own 90% of "News Output", as well as other various bad actors who have an interest in continuing a lie or narrative for profit or for power. Our goal is debunk false narratives on all sides, give you the data big MSM/govt doesn't want you to see, discuss how to reduce corruption, discuss conspiracies, build up decentralized platforms so that information is not deleted, and create a truth seeker/critical thinking minded culture.

The InformationWar project operates primarily on the Steem blockchain and involves mainly articles/blog posts. Every post that is added to the Steem blockchain is another nail in the coffin of the "Main Stream Media". Posts on the Steem blockchain made by the Information Warriors help preserve and create a knowledge library that is very censorship resistant. Steemians who contribute to this cause spends countless hours writing lengthy articles and doing research. We have a great curation team who will go through the #informationwar tag on Steemit and upvote your IW content! Currently, we have 7,000+ Steempower and 40 curation trail followers! Why is this important??? Because you need Resource Credits to access the Steem blockchain.
