India Woman Burned To Death During Argument In Hyderabad
She died on Friday, 22 of December, after she was set on fire.
Sandhya Rani, a 25-year-old receptionist, had just left work when her former colleague set her ablaze following a heated argument.
According to reports Sandhya Rani, and the accused, Karthik Vanga, 28, were seen arguing by multiple witnesses before he pulled out a can of kerosene and set her on fire.
Reports say Vanga had asked Sandhya Rani for her hand in marriage for a couple years, but she had rejected every time. Some believe rejection and jealousy is what drove him to commit such a horrible act.
There are hundreds of cases each year being reported in India of assault on women. From the many cases of women having stalkers or ex boyfriends who use acid as their main tool of physical harm to the many cases of rape.
Following the rape of a 23 year old girl on a bus in Delhi made headlines, crime against women seems to be a constant battle for the government figures. Crime rates have grown since the Delhi case in 2012, according to reports.

its very bad to read it ,we must accept the reality ,if she rejected me its ok ,its my feelings that i like it but its not means that i will get him by hook or crook
its sad that this things still exist in this modern age, and to lose life at such a tender age is soo sad, justice needs to be done
No Humanity, now days argument are big then anyone life. Don't argue in life for nonsense topic . Few days back I heard people did argument for only $0.15 cents and one person killed in it, just because of ego between each other. I don't know very is humanity now days........................
It is really heart breaking to hear about such events, but still we hear some people in India blaming woman for adaption modern ways of living (not even one or two plenty of them passes misogynistic statements).
I still remember when it was about rape of a 23 year old girl(medical student) on a bus in Delhi , many patriarchal voices were shouting;
"why the girl was out of house late night"
This is unbearable, patriarchy need to be upheaval from it's very roots. We all need to speak against any crime against woman in any part of world, ether on roads or on social media.
