Cloudbusting Kate Bush, Part Of The Wilhelm Reich Story
The song cloudbusting by kate bush is one part of the life story of the austrian doctor of medicine and psychoanalyst Wilhelm Reich.
Born in Austria in 1897 and died in prison at Lewisburg USA in 1957, he is known for creating the medical science called Orgonomy where he had created a box for patient's to sit in, the "Orgone accumulator"which (he claimed and his patients) had cured them of many ailments including cancer's.

In 1951 reich said he had discovered an energy called DOR, deadly orgone radiation which he said resulted in desertification of areas of land, which lead him to create the device called the cloudbuster! it consisted of 15ft aluminium pipes built on a mobile platform fed by hoses inserted in to water, with this cloudbuster he believed he called unblock the deadly ORG and induce rain to fall, halting the desertification process or at least bring welcomed rain to drought ridden areas for farmers and there crops, this was indeed demonstrated in 1953 with two farmers in maine and reich was paid for his service.
