Hello Steemians, The Doors is one of my very favorite Bands of all time. You can think about Jim Morrison what you want, but he was a hell of a guy who made wonderful tracks. The Doors were founded 1965 in Los Angeles California and the band's name was influenced by Aldous Huxley and his book "the Doors of Perception", which was actually influenced by a quote of William Blake - the great painter from the UK. Jim Morrison was well known for his radical performance and his screams; especially in "the End". If you want to know more about the Doors, I would recommend to watch the movie "the Doors" with Val Kilmer or read on of Jims biographies. All the best, Martin

Hallo Steemians, The Doors sind eine meiner allerliebsten Bands aller Zeiten. Man kann über Jim Morrison denken was man will, aber er war wirklich ein Wahnsinnstyp, der wundervolle Tracks gemacht hat. Die Doors wurden 1965 in Los Angeles Kalifornien gegründet und ihr Bandname war von Aldous Huxley und seinem Buch "Die Pforten der Wahrnehmung" beeinflusst, welches wiederum von einem Zitat von William Blake beeinflusst war - dem großen Maler aus England. Jim Morrison war bekannt für seine radikalen Auftritte und seine Schreie; besonders in "The End". Wenn ihr mehr über die Doors wissen wollt, empfehle ich euch den gleichnamigen Film mit Val Kilmer oder eine Biographie von Jims Leben. Alles Beste, Martin
