Edvard Grieg - Peer Gynt (1875)

There is a story almost everywhere you look, some of those stories are part of history and it is really important to remember those great stories in history like @nesmeliy did in this post about the Norwegian composer Edvard Grieg and his Peer Gynt where the author explores the stories behind the creations of this wonderful suite and the musical value that is permeated in it!

The secret of Edvard Grieg’s music, in my opinion, lies in the fact that, first of all, his talent avoided the influence of the established canonical European classical school to the maximum. Secondly, in the mid-60s of the XIX century, he experienced some insight, which led him to draw inspiration from the Norwegian folk art. - @nesmeliy

Blogging in Steemit since almost a year now, the blog of this author has a focus on music, you can find anything, covers, originals songs, analysis, reviews and even interesting stories about your favorite groups, composers and artists, the amount of content related to music is astonishing so if you are a music lover this blog will make you fall in love!

From Cafeteria to the Log Flotation Tunnel - Tampere, Finland

Images property of @insaneworks

Is really rare when you can find yourself in a place between two amazing lakes, such a places is beautiful Tampere, Finland a city flanked by Näsijärvi (Näsi Lake) and Pyhäjärvi (Holy Lake) all with a cafeteria and everything, the best part, you can get from one lake to another via a log flotation tunnel in just a matter of minutes, I see this as an absolute win!

Tampere is a very narrow city because of it's location between two lakes. On the north, we have Näsijärvi (Näsi Lake) and in the south we have Pyhäjärvi. (Holy Lake) When you go just a little bit west of the city center, there is an esker, a ridge that separates the two lakes from each other. In any other place of the ridge, if you want to go from the southern lake to the northern lake or vice versa, you have to climb on top of the ridge. But not here. You can take a shortcut straight through an old log flotation tunnel. - @insaneworks

Garden Update - May 2019

Images property of @exator

Recaps are always good, they gave us in one go all the good and memorable moments from a time passed, don't worry we are not talking about YouTube Rewind you're safe, we're gonna show @exator's Garden Update - May 2019 where we can see how much his garden has thrived and grown, his little patch of land is now full of life both animal and plants with fully grown asparagus and radish and even a new aquaponic garden in it!

Images property of @exator

Another month passed by and it's time for an update on my garden. I must confess that I'm not a passionate writer and it usually takes me days to create a decent post, but it sure is a nice training, so I try my best to keep this a little bit entertaining for you fellow steemians. Unlike April which was incredibly warm and sunny this year, May turned out to be very cold and rainy. The rain sure was desperately needed but some plants were kinda hurt by those wheater escapades and don't look as healthy as I would like to see them. - @exator

A steemian with a little more than a year in the platform he has been busy filling his blog with content related with saving the planet of trash monsters growing up his garden and all the living things in it and at the same time sharing every detail of what he is doing at the moment, a really down to earth blog to keep us busy!

Nice post @curie thanks you

Thank you for the resteems, but I can never find any posts created by you on your page!

Appreciate for the mention!) It is always nice to get into the Curie Author Showcase.

I appreciate the time you put into writing the showcase, @elfranz, and the graphics - wow!! - gifs, and formatting tricks, along with excerpts and your own narrative. You inspire me! (But not too much: I'm not adding gifs to the weekly Friday Freewrite Favorites, so help me God or Muse!)

Thank you for your kind words @carolkean, I think everyone deserves to be in the spotlight from time to time, each of those authors is exceptional and I try to give my best to make a post as good as they deserve!

Thank you for all the great work you guys have been doing in the steemit community. I’ve been following your trail for a few months as I’m trying to get back active in the steemit community.

Thank you very much for the mention and also for all the great work you do. :)
