Graves & Grooves :: Benny Sings

Salve!!!
Nas minhas idas e vindas no Spotify, enquanto cozinhava, surge uma música na caixa de som que chama minha atenção.
Era Not Enough. E quem cantava tinha um timbre parecido com Christopher Cross (hitmaker do início dos anos 80) e a música não tinha um caminho óbvio e fiquei curioso. Fui até o meu celular e vi que o nome do artista era *Benny Sings". Como era o lançamento do single, fui atrás dos álbuns anteriores e vi que esse holandês tem muito groove e belas melodias, acompanhada de uma voz suave e cativante.
E para fechar com chave de ouro, ouvi City Pop e cravo como um dos melhores discos do ano (lembram quando falei do Tom Misch ano passado?)!

In my comings and goings on Spotify, while cooking, a song appears in the sound box that catches my attention.
It was Not Enough. And whoever was singing had a tone similar to Christopher Cross (hitmaker of the early 80's) and the music did not have an obvious path and I was curious. I went to my cell phone and saw that the artist's name was Benny Sings. As the single was released, I went after the previous albums and saw that this Dutchman has a lot of groove and beautiful melodies, accompanied by a soft and captivating voice.
And to my delight, I heard City Pop and I bet as one of the best albums of the year (remember when I mentioned Tom Misch last year?)!

If you do not know, it is worth listening to the work of Benny!
