George Michael was generator of the hits that public had enjoyed for many years. Even now, many contemporary artists continue to sing immortal songs from the discography of the pop duo Wham! and his solo project.

Personally, I think his performance is too sugary and I listen to exclusively accessible tribute versions. The same goes for clips. There was clearly a bet on the female audience of listeners. A sweet voice, lyrics about love experiences, a little stubble for masculinity and a naked torso in the clip, and a guitar for toughness. Of course, it had a success.

Faith is the undisputed hit of the eighties.

Michael wrote this song in 1987, and later it entered the track list of his debut album “Faith”, which became one of the most significant in the world of pop music. Also song is the second single after "I Want Your Sex". In Billboard 100, "Faith" was listed in the first position. And in the 88th it was recognized as the best song of America.

A decade after the release of Michael's album, the unknown American rapcore/nu metal band Limp Bizkit presents the first full-length work entitled “Three Dollar Bill, Yall $”. In tracklist on number nine was cover of George Michael's “Faith”.

Along with other compositions of the debut album, “Faith” was appreciated. You yourself have heard the difference with the original. Music become more drive - I would say in the style of Limp Bizkit - scratch appeared. And the biggest difference from Michael's version is the explosive chorus with heavy Borland guitar parts and Durst screaming.

There are other covers on “Faith”, but despite the weighted version, it was Limp Bizkit’s musicians who managed to achieve fame with the song of George Michael.
