Good musical albums to be heard. Iggy Pop - "Post Pop Depression"

Post Pop Depression is another transformation of Iggy Pop into a rock'n'roll troubadour with no shelf life and a healthy step away from the usual shouting at the expense of an absolutely semi-equivalent / semi-mentor collaboration with producer Joshua Homme of Queens Of The Stone Age. The unexpected combination of the two titans from very different generations unfolds in a really wonderful, minor, melancholic and heavy introvert album with rich and splendidly-ornamented multi-layered guitars, elegant Gardenia, Bohemian disco with tight guitars and sophisticated backgammon, futuristic synthesizers and Break Into Your Heart and American Valhalla. Iggy's voice was theatrical on Homme's music and its simple texts, standing well away, and the genius of some of its contemporaries, and the indifferent dullness of everyone else. Iggy is an age in which it is quite normal to introduce autobiographical worries about death and the transient character of success - Post Pop Depression does not come close to the phenomenal first three albums of The Stooges and still sounds and excites as a quintessential Iggy.
