'Extraterrestrial Orbit' - New Original Music/Experimenting W/ New Sounds! Electronic/Instrumental + Walkthrough!
This song came together
in a matter of like, 15 minutes last night. I was mostly just playing around with some ambient synth stuff, but it wound up being cool so I just started layering more on top. I am not sure how much I love the drums, they're mostly just a placeholder, perhaps with a different timbre/different beat it would work better. I'll experiment with this over the next few days. Let's go through it!

Tracks 2, 3, 4 and 5
are grouped together, and all supply the main spacey synth sounds for the tune. The progression pictured below is what is played by the first 2, but Tracks 4 and 5 add some other harmonies to expand things a bit. Tracks 6 and 7 come next, playing at the beginning and middle of each measure, just adding some more stuff happening in the background. Not sure if these 2 will make the final cut either.

Tracks 10 and 11, described below.Tracks 8 and 9 provide
the drums, with the kicks and snares in Track 8, and the hihats/shakers in Track 9. Finally, we have the ascending and descending 1/16th note progression played by both Tracks 10 and 11. As you can see above, it's basically arpeggiated chords with some passing notes in between. Generally, I liked these 2 tracks, although I think the line may be altered as I finalize this a bit more.
