They hop on a Musical.ly competitor called Lip Sync Live where people can do there kareoke impersonations on facebook. This is a great way for artists to get paid and at the same time it creates crazy engagement as you will soon see.

Kobalt's AWAL Acquires Radio promotion company In2une

I read this article and it made my wheels turn. I didn't know Kobalt invested 150 million into AWAL. Awal is a music distribution company that goes beyond the normal scope with letting artist benefit by having control of their copyrights, but at the same time get some help with syncing, marketing etc. Awal also added another major addition with In2une Radio promotion, giving them alot more leverage for on-boarding independent artists to radio play. Before it would be extremely difficult to get on the radio unless you're signed to one of the 3 bigs (Sony, Universal, & Warner)

1 Hour Videos enabled on Instagram? Maybe

Instagram decides that they want more that one minute videos in there story feature. This would be cool. Sometimes i wish the videos would last longer than a min. Facebook is rolling out there music programs and them enabling 1 hr videos and it all seems to make sense now they have the ability to play music.
