Song of the Day - Try To Be by Blue Hawaii

Been off the internet for the past day due to some work stuff going on, but I'm back tonight to play an older favorite that has found its way back into my life.

I've got a soft spot for indie music, but every now and then it collides with electronic music nicely. This is a good example of this. A looped groove sets the stage along side a simple guitar while vulnerable lyrics begin to make their way through. What makes this track truly unique though is the ear worm vocal chops that fill in the background. It's a delicate song for late night listening with a beautiful and haunting vocal performance that continues to resonate with me.
