Song of the Day - White Flowers by Tom Demac & Real Lies

Whew, it has been a busy few days hence the break from posting. In no particular order here are some life updates.

1. Home inspection for selling the house (which meant lots of house work to get things ready). Installed a lights, earthquake straps for the water heater, and re-insulated the basement in record time.
2. Hit 7 years of sobriety which if you knew me 7 years ago seemed pretty impossible. I'm pretty thankful for all the support I've gotten from people over the years.
3. Had the pleasure of being a part of making some new Chiefs this past summer which cumulated in their promotion on Friday. This is kind of a Navy specific thing, but if you know, you know how important we treat this. Spent a ton of time getting my Select ready for this over the summer and it was legitimately awesome seeing him finish the season.
4. New phone drama. Word of advice, if you get a new phone, don't forget to transfer your 2FA before you delete your phone. What a headache.

With that said now that I'm unwinding from a busy summer, there isn't a tune that hits the feels quite like this. Warm and trancey, it just floats along beautifully with a spoken word vocal that resonates with me. A real beautiful song that is going to have legs long past this summer.
