King of Pop - I am sure you all know who is the "King Of Pop"......Of course his name is Michael Jackson

Michael Jackson was born on 29th August 1958 and he died on 25th June 2009 at the age of 51 years ( short of 2 months).

He had lots of fans and his songs are still popular with many people around the world. I have been a great fan of Michael Jackson and had traveled to the US when he was still alive to watch his shows. Both my children love him especially his 'moon walk' and they would imitate his moves.

As an American Singer, Dancer and Song Writer he was dubbed the "King of Pop" and was one of the most popular entertainers in the world. Even now his songs are still been aired in many countries and people can remember his name and there were lots of impersonators trying to be as like him as possible.

These were some of his photos that I managed to extract from my old album. At that time, the camera I had was an automatic one and the results were not good or clear.

Some of his popular music that I could remember were "Beat It", "Billie Jean", and "Thriller". His "Thriller", were credited with breaking racial barriers. It acted as a transforming medium into an art form and promotional tool.
The popularity of these videos had helped to bring fame to Jackson's 1987 album Bad spawned across the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 number-one singles. "I Just Can't Stop Loving You", "Bad", "The Way You Make Me Feel", "Man in the Mirror", and "Dirty Diana", becoming the first album to have five number-one singles in the nation.
He continued to innovate with videos such as "Black or White" and "Scream" throughout the 1990s.
He was remembered for his complicated dance style and techniques like the Robot and Moonwalk. He had in his own way "trade mark" them to his very own and in our current days like "patent" the rights. Well we never know if there is such a "dance patent" maybe his moves and techniques and steps maybe considered??

Goodbye Michael, "King of Pop". You will be remembered for your special dance styles and techniques and all the Songs you have written and sung.
