Only a few hours after the Kerrang! interview was released with System Of a Down guitarist Daron Malakian saying that his frontman, Serj was responsible for the lack of content from his band. Then Serj himself has released an official confession about the way he claims things really are within the band.

It appear that Serj didn't take too kindly to the things that Daron had to say about him in this interview, if you want to find out more about that, you can go ahead and click this link.

To go on the basic details, Daron said in that interview that Serj really didn't want to do heacy music anymore and he really didn't want to create the Mesmerize and Hypnotize album to begin with and he alleged that they basically had to beg him to do that album. He also essentially placed all the blame on Serj for why System of a Down hasn't released any new music for more than a decade.
