LTAM : “Let’s Talk About Music”

MASTERWORK is a Turkish Company that not only make darbukas but they also popularized by their handmade cymbals. The company founded in the year of 2002 at Istanbul.

Today I’m going to introduce their darbuka that 100 percent made from turkey.

There are 2 types of material that build darbukas. There is either copper or aluminium. Copper has higher quality compare with aluminium. Copper made darbukas has better resonance but is more expensive compare with aluminium. Aluminium is designed and made for more into beginner drummers and its at least half lighter than copper made darbuka.

About the durability, both drums are very lasting and can handle most of the environment as long they are treated in the care.

About the Drum Head, both has plastic designed heads but for the copper made model, it has the choice of using animal skin (goat skin). They both come with the tuner to tune based on your requirement key. You can tighten it to get brighter pitch tone or a warmer and mellow by loosen them.
