LTAM #57 : Yamaha PSR-E263 Entry Level Portable Keyboard
LTAM : “Let’s Talk About Music”
The PSR-E263 is a 61 keys affordable portable keyboard arranger that is made by Yamaha Music. The features are superb with the price range that is below RM1k (Malaysia Ringgit). It has 32 polyphony tones with 384 Voices and 16 Drum & Sound Effect Kits on board.
About the effects, there are 9 types of Reverbs, 5 types of Chorus, 6 types of Master EQ and 3 choices of Ultra Wide Stereo. It also can be use on the panel for the sustain effect without any sustain pedal.
The accompaniment styles are awesome! It has 130 Styles from the Preset and it can be Multi Fingering. It also comes with OTS Feature (One Touch Setting).
There are 112 Preset Songs that is installed permanently in the keyboard and there are 12 Chord Study to learn how to play.
About the Lesson, there are 5 ways of guide to learn how to play from the Preset Songs. It can be LISTEN & LEARN, TIMING, WAITING, A-B REPEAT & CHORD DICTIONARY. Beside that there are METRONOME with the Tempo Range from 11-280.
The back connections are the Stereo HEADPHONES OUTPUT or it can connected into any keyboard amplifier by using PHONO CABLE. Sustain Pedal can be connected as well. The AUX IN in a Stereo Mini Jack. Just by connecting to any portable player and the music will play through the keyboard speakers and can be play along if you feel like!
Adaptor are included with the Yamaha PA-3C but beside powering the keyboard using adaptor, it can also be operated by using Six 1.5V “AA” Size Batteries. The other accessories that included are Music Rest and Manual Operation Booklet.
