The SAMSON AUDIO S-Direct is a S Class Mini Processor of Direct Box. This is Solid that made of extruded aluminium chassis with large rubber feet at all corners. This is suitable for live sound application and also for recording studio or home.
They are made of Gold-plated XLR balanced outputs and there also has a battery compartment to fix with a standard 9 Volt battery for users who doesn’t have phantom power at their mixing console.
A 1/4-inch input connector is for the source (guitar, bass or keyboard) Located at the left. There is a LEVEL switch to choose between GTR or SPK. When is engaged means it will be SPK (amplifier speaker). For the OUTPUT/LINK connector, it is sending signal either to a stage amplifier or speaker monitor system.
ON THE OTHERSIDE
There is a 9 Volt battery compartment at the left. A GND LIFT switch is to disengage the XLR PIN-1 (GROUND) at the BALANCED OUTPUT. PHANTOM & BATTERY SWITCH is a switches to choose either powered by phantom power or battery powered.
Note; whenever the XLR cable is connected to a mixing console and powered by phantom power, the S-DIRECT will automatically turn off the battery power without removing the 9 Volt battery inside.
