What is Robert famous for? The fact that in 1973 he recorded the immortal hit song Killing Me Softly. It's a great song, was written for a different singer, Lori Lieberman, and she successfully sang. Roberta heard her on the plane. Arriving at the place, she contacted the authors and recorded a song.
Killing Me Softly by Roberta Flack was released in January 1973 and rose twice to the top of the Billboard Hot 100. Her version of the song was awarded the Grammy, entered the Grammy hall of fame and was included in Rolling Stone's list of the 500 greatest songs of all time.
The song, meanwhile, was sung by many, and for many it was still successful. I found you a great performance - listen!
