Cort Les Paul + Vox AC30 = Awesome Rock tone ! . Playing with NoZin in Guayaquil, Ecuador.
Hello everyone!
Yesterday I played with the Hardcore Punk band ''NoZin'' at the Love Tattoo Festival here in Guayaquil. It was a very fun gig , it's been a while since I played one of those very loud and energetic gigs. Jumping around with Heavy gain guitar sounds :P . The rock guy inside me feels refreshed!
Anyways I ended up using this Cort Les Paul which is a loaner ( for now ) that I'm really digging , even though it weighs a tone it delivers a very defined tone that cuts thru the mix , paired with the VOX AC 30 it just roars!
This is also something a bit new in terms of electronics as I am exploring EMG active pickups in this axe , this is loaded with Retroactive Fat 55 humbuckers. While being quite high gain they don't go too much into ''metal'' territory making this a good all around Rock guitar. I'm quite happy with it so far :)
Oh , pedalwise I am just travelling with my Nux Cerberus , that little brain is a workhorse!
