Today we're going to the polls here in Bavaria, and for some reason I was thinking of royalty this morning.

My stream of consciousness led me to Prince Harry, and then America's Prince. One thing led to another so I tried a quick-and-dirty photo cloning experiment.

Kings

The royalty thought led to the fact that America's King of Rock & Roll was the father-in-law of America's King of Pop. This should be a tag #youcannotmakethisstuffup

Both super talented in their own way, both were big hair heartthrobs in their younger days, Graceland vs Neverland, and both died tragically.

I wasn't sure if they had ever met, so I checked and was surprised to learn that they indeed had. It was brief encounter in a Las Vegas hotel in 1974. MJ was 16 years old and there performing with the Jackson Five. Elvis was well past his prime by then – he died three years later.
