Amederia is a Russian gothic doom/dark metal band from the city of Naberezhnye Chelny, founded in 2006 by Damir Galeev and Andrei Dolgikh.

После первого альбома Sometimes We Have Wings о группе из Набережных Челнов Amederia критики заговорили, как о серьезном, самобытном и крайне интересном проекте (беспроигрышное сочетание гроулинга и трогательного женского вокала сделало свое дело). За дебютным релизом последовала активная гастрольная деятельность, началась запись второго полноформатника, но... сначала группу покинула Лиана, затем пришлось сменить басиста. Выход второго альбома вначале намечался в 2012 году, но вместо него удалось выпустить синглом лишь один трек Forbidden Love (впоследствии эта вещь все-таки войдет в альбом). Сам же релиз оказался отодвинут от плана на целых два года и увидел свет только в 2014 году, и с тех пор... Ну, достаточно просто взглянуть на дискографию Amederia, чтобы убедиться, что с тех пор группа больше не выпустила ничего - даже отдельного сингла. Печальный симптом. Однако давайте не будем хоронить коллектив раньше времени. Сцена знает много историй затухания и ухода в небытие, но также известны ей истории неожиданного и мощного возрождения. Я предлагаю верить в лучшее.
