Morguenstern is a Russian gothic/horror metal band, founded in 1999, closed in 2001, and reborn in 2013 by Morgana (music, lyrics, vocals, keyboards).

Группа Morguenstern впервые блеснула на горизонте еще в конце прошлого века. Вряд ли кто-то, кроме самих музыкантов, в силах припомнить те славные мгновения, однако же факт остается фактом: банде Morguenstern уже без малого двадцать лет - несмотря на то, что с 2001 по 2013 год коллектив никакой активности не проявлял.
В 2013 году вокалистка и фронт-вумен Моргана внезапно возрождает команду, целиком набирая новый состав (что неудивительно). "Главные темы" группы остаются неизменными (это смерть, смерть и еще раз смерть), хотя всерьез говорить о музыке в данном случае едва ли возможно. Morguenstern - это прежде всего культурное действие, как например "Pussy Riot" или та же "Мать сыра земля", с которой Morguenstern последнее время так охотно сотрудничает. Музыка здесь играет далеко не первую роль, как бы странно это ни звучало.
