This post is an example of a template I planned to use. My next post about the big band season will be the first in a series that I will try to maintain for the season.

What platform should I use to post this series... Esteem, Busy, Steempeak, NTopaz?

Parking receipt image tradition:

This is just a junky ol' college of older images for this section today, but in the future I will have new images and GIFs. These here are the inspiration for the concept. You know, the concept to take a bunch of pictures of parking receipts, duh...

Just one more collage of images from the past. Thanks for your patience. Should I decline payout for this reuse. Some marketing professional actually encourage reusing images and content. I won't abuse it here. You know me.

Big Band expense estimates:

💴 $2 per rehearsal/appearance and there are an estimated 16 rehearsals/appearances. That adds up to $36 for the semester's parking.

⛽️ Gas is probably about $4 per appearance. So, that's about $64 in gas.

I estimate my total to be $100. I didn't plan that number.

🍩 The cost of donuts and coffee is gonna bring my total to about $200!

I should carpool, but that can cost extra money. It's best to just plan for the expense of solo driving. It's gonna be about 100-150.

Pinball league would cost less!? Really good price for an education though.

Description:

This post is just a warning. It's the start of a series featuring a behind the scenes perspective on what it takes to be a bass player in a big band. Look for silly stuff to look at and music to listen to. Musicians that already know everything will enjoy skipping over a bunch of stuff they already know. Non-musicians will get to discover big band before it dies off completely.
