This was the 3rd studio album released by Annie Lenox and David Stewart of the Eurythmics, The hit single on this LP was "Here Comes the Rain Again." Rolling Stone lists this album in their top 500 of all time.

"Don't Stop" was Billy Idol's first release. It's an EP with 4 tracks including Dancing with Myself and "Mony Mony" this is an original released in 1981. Later there was a re-issue that included an interview with Billy conducted by Martha Quinn, MTV VJ and included in the tape and EP.

Whoops, isn't 80's but the first Police album released in 1978. Outlandos d'Amour. ROXANNE is the biggie here.

Everyone knows the Violent Femmes, so much is still played today. I had NO idea they were from Milwaukee, that blows my mind for how progressive. 9 studio albums and 15 singles. This is the 2nd album Hallowed Ground. Blister in the Sun is NOT on this album. ;)

Just in case this doesn't all remind you of early MTV, here's a cool pillow I found in a yard sale that came from MTV studios in the late 1990's.

Cool song. I didn't saw early Sting clips. He had different style in his music as I see.

The Police definitely had a different vibe than Sting alone. This being their first? Hard to believe how long it's been!
