#4 Fine Arts Center 1998 WaaSylla Drummers Drumming LAMBA
Lamba is the tribute to the African storyteller: The Griot. This rhythm touts the praises of the man born to remember all the family histories in his village and often times the surrounding villages. So revered is he in the keeping of the village chronicles that even in wartime the Griot is spared.
NOTE: THERE IS ABOUT A 10 SECOND DELAY BEFORE VIDEO STARTS...sorry.
That was fantastic. I don't know what it was but the one in the pale blue really stole the show. My eyes were really drawn to her. Perhaps it was the reflection of the light.
Donna Mejia was in blue. She is an exceptional dancer and woman. She does it all!

Awesome. Thank you:)
I think I saw drumming and dance similar to this in one of the countries I was in Africa, It could have been Rwanda but I am not sure of that

Wow, nice and colorful Lamba dress photography.
Those agile dancers certainly have rhythm don't they @willowwisp? And their costumes are very elaborate. Thanks very much for sharing this with us. 💐
